Sad plant manager.
Our manufacturing facility wanted to start a second shift for a new high volume contract we got. The problem was that they didn't have a technician that they could trust to watch over and help the new hire operators. Seeing an opportunity to advance, I volunteered to spear head the second shift and get things going. Needless to say management was overjoyed at this prospect. I asked to be titled as a shift leader along with a two dollar increase. They gave a hard no to giving me any type of official title and offered a one dollar raise. I countered with asking for another dollar after the first of the year and they agreed. Now I asked if we needed to put it in writing or if I could trust them. I know I should have gotten it in writing but I was more testing their integrity at this…

A bachelor degree (plus 3 years experience) for $13k/year?!
I fucking hate my job. I also hate my dumb ass boss who hired me for her shithole department full of useless idiot morons knowing she was going on maternity leave. I hate the stupid fucking execs and people messaging me about dumb shit and stressing me the fuck out. Fuck this shit I fucking can’t do this anymore. Leaving fucking paragraphs full of directions that don’t make any fucking sense. Fuck this place
A little background, I’m a firefighter/ paramedic and I work 48-72 hours a week at the fire-station. I recently started working as a trauma nurse at our main hospital, another 36 hrs a week on top of my Fire gig. I often work 36 hr shifts going from one to the other. I recently finished my orientation and at the end I tried to open the conversation about using a few days of PTO in August now that I am eligible. My boss basically said I was selfish and I wasn’t being a team player for asking for PTO while we’re short staffed. She also pointed out how she doesn’t have to schedule me around my fire schedule and she can schedule me however she wants. She tried to manipulate me emotionally by saying all the other nurses would have to take additional patients while I was gone (when i…
There's a longer story but the upshot is: I have a very difficult coworker who wants me to do a task. To do the task they must provide me with certain info. There is no other way to do it. So I asked them for that info and they got very irritated, bashed away on their laptop for a minute, and then emailed me some bogus instructions. By bogus I mean the attached image that was supposed to show how they wanted their thing to look was just some random image they found online and copy-pasted into the email, with about 10 vague words of instructions (like “less detail”). By random image I mean it's a low-res screenshot from a 2017 report with a screenshot of a now-defunct website (so a screenshot of a pdf of a screenshot). It's a bit like if someone said “I want a photo of…

So can somebody help me here?
So to speak I was terminated last week met with a lady in hr, told I was terminated due to points lost for attendance which would reset on the 27th of may..the day I was terminated on was the 23rd .. Now I look into the app my position is the same my service date has continued, and now I've gotten a interview request for another department in my company seeking me. Should I have been calling in? Am I just being docked now for no call no show? What do I do here? I have the interview tomorrow I applied for ui but the company shows I'm still working for them.. Is it worth going to the interview?
Citi Group experiences?
Hey everyone. I recently got a job offer at citi group for (entry level) data entry paying $17 an hour which is a $2 hike from what I get paid now. Despite it being night shift it sounds pretty sweet. Is this deceptive at all? Should I run for the hills? Thanks in advance.
