As i’m the one who forgets most stuff i was studying in the college & didn’t do any interesting projects/extracurricular activities, it’s almost impossible for me to get a profession-related job. So, now i’m a waitress. I’ll be able finish the online courses i’ve registered by Oct/Nov this year if i study 20-25 hr/week besides my job. After that i’ll do my own projects for job hunting. I’m a foreigner and have some limits on my visa (not a student one), that’s why i need to rush myself like this. The job i want is my dream job, but it also sounds depressed imagining that i’ll have a very less time to relax. I mean, although you love playing football, it’d still be sad if you have to play football in the level that you have a little/no time off to do something else.

My company offered pretty nice referrals. I would sometimes use this as my side hustle. IT positions: 5k bonus if person was hired and payout was at 90 day mark All others: 1k payout if person was hired and payout at 90 day mark I got one person hired for 1k. I started trying to source my own on LinkedIn for fun on my breaks. Not anymore. They just lowered it to $25 all positions. Not worth my time. Just venting lol
This whole narrative that’s being pushed by the MSM clowns needs to come to and end. These out of touch corporate conglomerates need to acknowledge the
We have a super majority!
I’ve been at my job for nearly two years. I was recently promoted. I’ve been the victim of wage theft twice on this project through two different companies and received backpay accordingly. My remote job has such a strong sense of community. We genuinely care about our families, pets, health and wellbeing. But our employer doesn’t feel the same. We have to fight to protect our SLAs, our workflow, even to WFA even though most of us were hired to WFH. “The Client” could force us to RTO at any time. Our company has us on the temporary arm of a 5 year contract. While we do get benefits, they aren’t equitable with our employer’s FTE counterparts and are vastly under the Client’s FTEs. I know this journey is only beginning but I’m ready for this fight.
Buckle up, this one is a doozy. Back in August of 2021, I started a fully remote Marketing Specialist role with a large company. Things were odd from the start, as the person who interviewed and hired me was not my boss. The person who was to be my boss happened to be coming back from a lengthy time on medical leave due to cancer. For the first 6ish months, things were going well. The job had me doing things that weren’t in the job description, but I felt like I needed to give it a bit longer before I decided if the role fit me. At about 6 months into the position, my boss dropped it on my head that there wasn’t enough work for my job to be fully remote, and that per the job description, she wanted the role to be 50% travel. And when I say…
My text messages with my boss today.
For context I wasn’t feeling right and I had to close our store (24/7 speedway) and it caused “a lot of problems”
