Looking for a way out
Like the title says I'm looking for a way out I'm looking to see if anybody has any resources or experience on how to make decent or even OK money on the side that actually works. The situation is I have just started a new job I've been here almost 3 months when I first started I was hopeful and ready to work and had a great attitude now after some time it's setting in that this job is part time so no benefits and there's no breaks of any kind unless work is caught up which it never is and I also get constantly humiliated by my boss in front of everyone like I'm some kind of idiotic lowlife being. I was interviewing for a team lead role, when asking about my salary expectations I said I was wanting to keep my current salary of 55k a year, if not be paid a bit more. I was informed that wasn't possible as no one makes near that at , even the most experienced team leads there make maybe 24 and that's where I could be after 2 years of training and new certification. But initially I would get paid 17-18 while working 8-10 hour days. They assumed it was ok, cause they wanted me to come in to see their facility and meet the staff, and not even asking if I accept the position.

I've been working as an flt driver at this shithole, but I was super busy and I enjoyed driving, my job was material handling. The yard was a complete shit tip, they asked me to sort it out but then they keep asking me to do other things. They had material coming in on giant pallets, no system in place so the pallets just build up and up and up. After weeks of putting up with the boss talking to me like dogshit today I'd had enough. Hello all, Ig this is sort of a rant honestly but I want to know if others have experienced something similar. From a v young age (about 8-10) I knew I was really smart & knew when I grew up I wanted 2 help ppl. Well a lot has changed since then. Long story short, I’ve been disillusioned. For context, I’m 22 & a surgical technologist. I joined like I said 2 help ppl- I don’t need the $$, I’m a saleswoman I can sell anything 2 anyone. What bothers me is the fact that I feel like I’ve worked my whole life & didn’t get credit for it- I got straight A’s, opened up my own LLC, bought a car, etc. and I’m proud of myself but I’m tired.
