Please please I beg for 3 day weekends. 32 hours of work a week. I'm so fucking tired I hate how fast the weekends go by. I miss looking forward to spring break, winter break, and summer vacation. At least let me have a 3 day weekend.

Has anyone else noticed that more and more jobs nowadays will advertise their pay as if the individual will be making a healthy wage but only due to FORCED overtime ??? An example I seen was a posting saying the salary would be $80,000+ yearly, but when scrolling the ad for more details (or calling the recruiter) it will state that the pay is $20 hourly with mandatory 60-70 hour work weeks. Why are we accepting this bullshit? lol.

I work for a semi small company and they're always doing things outside of work. Happy hours, dinners, ball games, etc. I used to attend years ago but now I have no desire. I spend enough time at work each week and frankly I don't want to hang out with them anymore than I get paid for. It's not that I'm being rude or “too good” I value my time at home and my time with my kids. Once 4pm hits I'm out the door and on my way home. We've got some important meetings with higher ups in the coming weeks and when this happens they invite the managers out to dinner one night. I never go. I don't plan on it this time either. Am i an asshole for not ever wanting to participate outside of work?

Does anyone have any tips on how to get motivated to find a job? I’ve been looking recently and every time I setup an interview I just get really depressed and overwhelmed. The world is going to shit and I just can’t find it in me to want to work right now.

Signed it because I was desperate to feed my child and myself. Had a clause that we weren’t to discuss our salaries. Nobody gave a damn and discussed it anyway. Found out someone with 10 years less experience than me was earning just $200 lesser. Asked recruiter about it. Her response? You should be lucky to have a job in this climate. Fuck you.

One time my boss was being a asshole (more then usual) because one of my co-workers had to take a day off from all the stress that she was being put under. She was FIRED the next day, and our boss started rambling on about how being “sensitive” as he put it was not an excuse for taking a day off. And that HE does all the work around here (he doesn't do shit) so one of my co-workers said “if you do all the work then you don't need us” so he quit followed by another person and another, until everyone quit (including me) and we all watched the company fall
