https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rNKUW4DPXaY Many students just use ChatGPT to write the b.s. essays they have to for college. Now ChatGPT will claim to have written your essay even when it did not. Teacher will give you a zero and tell you to fuck off. This is the best lesson that college can give you about the real world: your boss is an asshole and will be pissed off that you can do your job with A.I.
Can I sue my boss over this?
So the VP of my company walked by my office on Friday while I was coughing and openly mocked me. She did a horrendous impression of my coughing and when someone asked her what she was doing said 'mimicking Nicole'. I have a chronic disability and often get sick because of immune system problems. I even have FMLA (which I had used for some of the time that week). I went to the doctor on Friday and they diagnosed me with bronchitis. So should I contact a lawyer over this or am I overreacting?
I was pretty shocked to find out I had none of those benefits listed above. Is even legal not to have any sick time?
I've worked at a major pharma company for the past 8 years, holding multiple positions and trying to climb the corporate ladder. Early last week we had a finance townhall where it was announced that the majority of US based finance positions will be moving to Colombia. Now one can only assume it is for cheaper labor costs. This isn't the first time I've been a product of downsizing/relocating/headcount reduction or whatever you want to call it. But it's always the US employees who take the fall. Sure the argument could be made that I didn't climb the ladder high enough to put myself in a position to not be affected. But not everyone wants that…
I am quitting my job today and I’m trying to write a resignation letter. The place of work was amazing, good job hours, coworkers were great etc. But my boss is the one that makes work a living hell. He is the definition of a text book narcissist. He’s a very angry person and he nit picks everything. I always felt like I was walking on eggshells around him. I was always so anxious that I would make a mistake which would result in being verbally abused/ receiving a lecture. He bullies/picks on the other employees but not so much with me (not sure why). My last straw was that he used expletives towards an employee last week. Even though not directed to me, thats not the environment that I want to be in so I decided to leave. I was only there for 2 months but I have seen…
