Today was my last day at a job I've worked for 12 years. I'm 31 and worked at a factory since I graduated high school. I gave this place my knees, my wrists, and a marriage. I gave a two weeks notice, as for as long as I've been there the rule was if you give two weeks you'll get the rest of your vacation time paid out on your last pay check.
