I work part time. They made this whole big deal about me putting my availability. Okay. I wrote that I could come in at 9am. This week I was scheduled every day to come in at 8am. I message them last week to let them know I couldn't do that, and today I get a message telling me to try to come in at 8 but if I can't to call to let the supervisor know. No I will not be going in at 8 today or any day. I am available at 9. End of story. The cherry on top is that I called and no one answered the phone. If they don't begin to respect my availability I guess I should be glad I'm only temporary.
I was having problem with manager A and applied to an internal transfer with manager B. Manager B opted for an outside hire so I got the same job outside. We ended up connecting on LinkedIn and it was a sore spot for me because they guy went to a lower tier school than mine, doesn’t have a master’s, and hasn’t quite worked at the same calibre of past employers as mine. I put in my 4-week notice and now the person who ended up getting the job reached out to me and said, “Manager B gave me your name because he says you’re the go-to person for this in our organisation. Really appreciate it if you could give me a few pointers with my projects.” I mean, I’m trying really hard not to be salty here. And it’s not the guy’s fault he got the job he didn’t know…
7 am start which is already to early, but the clock is 10 minutes ahead, so if your not early you’re late! What the heck! Don’t even have enough time to get ready, use the bathroom , eat, then get here! Then I’m forced to stand in the same spot until noon with no 15 break . Lol not even two weeks and I need a new job.

Hi everyone, I just created my second account since i don't want to be identified with my previously used username, this is my first post. 🙂 I am 22 and have been working 40hrs/week for almost 3 years now. I have had a bad experience with my first work place that really messed me up. I left that place after half a year and I'd say I have recovered from that mentally. Throughout this whole time until now I have always struggled with thinking about work unwillingly. I generally do not enjoy working as a concept, I work so that I can afford living. I'd much rather reduce work hours and have more time to enjoy other things, like having more time to cook or tending a garden. This being said, I do not want to think about work outside of work hours. Unfortunately, I cannot seem to stop this…
So i just finished chef school in Vienna and the work market service sent me to apply for a job at a restaurant at the edge of the big amusement park here, i went there and the boss there told me they sell about 200 dishes a day and ofered me more money that i initially asked for, we negotiated for at least one weekend off a month witch i think is reasonable, it all seemed ok at first, but after working 2 days there i found out that nobody wants to work there and preety much everybody that comes there to work dont last even a week, in reality they welcome between 300-500 people a day. There are only 2 chefs and they preety much work 10-16 hours a day with only one day off a week. One of them has been working there for a year and hasn't…
It would be the least they could do, being a country that lies about freedom of choice when all the choices are some sort of slavery unless you win the lottery (and that's probably rigged). This was a get your hopes up and let you down exercise in emotional manipulation. Was never intended to go through. The left and the right go to the same after parties, work on the schemes behind the scenes. It's WWE wrestling and the media is complicit in the illusion. They just act as sworn enemies. What's the point of voting? You're just reinforcing this control structure that keeps us enslaved in debt. I made a mistake of going to Uni and left after a year. The banks made a mistake by gambling with their clients money. They got bailed out, we didn't. Citizens are second class citizens compared to corporations. Been getting into some…
