As the title says, I only get paid $15 an hour to be berated on the phone and forced to work overtime in fear of being penalized. I work past my availability, and when asked why, my boss said the company needs people to work overtime and weekends, and if I don't like it, I should trade with a coworker. The issue is we work at home, and we don't have contact with each other. How am I supposed to do that? And who in their right mind would work on a weekend? I emailed and asked to not be scheduled every day for mandatory overtime, but my email was never even viewed. Its hot here and i wore shorts today at my daycare job. I was told by the owner to go home and change as shorts are not acceptable. She told this in front of everyone with a look as if i am a slut. Needless to say, I felt very embarrassed. Is there anything I can do if she decides to not pay me for the lost hour. This is in Washington state and i was not told any dress code for this job.
