Please delete if not allowed and sorry for the grammar. I work in retail so I understand how tough it can be and this is not throwing any shade to the workers, but the company on how they handle things. I was supposed to receive a Coles delivery that was at 1:30pm and I kept on getting notifications that it was delayed, last text I received was stating that it would now arrive at 2:58pm, well it never came. I called the costumer help line twice, at 6pm the first person said it was on the way, only 15 minutes till the driver would drop it off. The second time I called it was 8:46pm and they said that unfortunately it can’t be delivered till Friday (so two days later) for the inconvenience caused they would waive the delivery fee and $20 credit for my next order, not this one,…
started this new job thinking it was different after i just left a job with the same problem, and 5 weeks in wouldn’t you know the same thing is happening lmao. strike 1: i’m a temp, so i’m not a salaried worker and have to clock in and out of shifts. forgot to one day, apologized profusely and explained what time i left and they proceeded to tell me “this organization doesn’t pay for travel time.” implying… something i never said and already apologized for strike 2: reprimanded for helping coworkers with workload/shadowing on the job before asking manager first – idk maybe this one might not be that serious but it just felt childish strike 3: for context, i work in hr and do a lot of hiring and onboarding. led my first call and shared a couple days later that a new hire contacted me with questions and…

Well, my manager has talked to me every month about my time away that I use each day. Time away is just away from desk instead of being available to take calls. She says that if I had less time away from desk, then I could get a extra $100 bonus every quarter (very small amount I know). She also includes this in my review. One…
It goes both ways , asshole… People who make your food, they can't afford Healthcare, but you can have private doctors …? People who make min wage , they can't afford rent, but you can buy your 10th mega-mansion ? People who build cars, they can't afford the cars they build, but you can fly your private jet ? And are the ones with the moral issues…
