Spent the last 2 years doing my job remote. 3 60 + year old colleagues resisted and stayed onsite throughout the pandemic. Within the past year, the older management has retired and been replaced with 30 somethings who are all about WFH. (Thank God!). I do most of my work at home and work onsite if needed for appointments and supplies (I work in community health). Our company also rolled out new software which has ultimately killed all need for physical paperwork and records. We all received a 2 week crash course on the software and 99% of us hit the ground running and are easily navigating and using the tech. Today, I watched one 60+ worker lose her shit…totally lose her shit because no one is physically there to support her. She wants a supervisor on site 5 days a week (not gonna happen…she works 4 10 hour shifts…

I quite honestly don't care even a little bit if I don't get a position, I don't expect to get every position I apply for. I’ve been going into the office on an as needed bases and there are a number of teams that are in office a majority of the time but my boss is remote, I’m on a small team, work long hours, and literally will never have a day of only in person meetings. So what is the point? I have no issue working long hours, I enjoy what I do and am prepared to maliciously comply or just not go in and let them play their hand for them wasting my time adding 1-1.5hr r/t commute to my day. Please help me strategize some talking points when talking to my boss.

Edit: “x-company” is a fake placeholder for the companies actual name. First of all, the X-company bonus scheme depends on how many stars a customer gives the courier, meaning if the customer gives anything less than 5 stars, part of the courier's pay is taken away from them. In a cost-of-living crisis, even if they gave less than 5 stars because they weren't happy with food items, how long it took to pick, or any moldy food, things that are not the courier's fault will be held entirely against them. Secondly, X-company demands that all couriers wear the X-company uniform even in very hot weather, even if the heat is affecting them.
