Anyone know when the revolution begins?
Just curious cuz it seems like things are getting worse, and many other countries are currently protesting for workers rights while we're all just sittin around? Am I wrong? When's the revolution start?

ITS HAPPENING!! Some companies in the private sector in Ireland have shifted to a 4 day week with great success, but now government workers are putting the pressure on. Once this is achieved in the public sector, the private sector will fall very quickly. POWER TO THE PEOPLE
Foreman left, company collapsed
A few years ago, I worked for a “professional” cabinetmaking shop. Originally, I was hired purely as a warehouse guy, but I got quickly promoted by the shop foreman because I was the only person who gave a shit in the entire building. The owner of the company didn't want that because his son was supposed to have the position I ended up with (a machine operator), but he couldn't really argue with the foreman. As part of my “giving a shit” responsibilities, I was sent on First Aid and Workplace Health and Safety training. I was still loyal to my foreman, so I kinda looked to the other way on a lot of the violations (I was young and stupid) during my inspections. Still, I wrote everything down, but I never filed anything as a complaint. Then, a cold day in February came when my foreman quit so he…
Uncomfortable Practice
I work in an office with about 40 others. Our company sends a daily e-mail to all employees which outlines who is out of office including the general reason code sick, vacation, bereavement, etc. When I started I was instructed it was designed to keep everyone in a loop in case they needed the person outlined. We also seem to have the culture where its normalized for other co-workers to ask the individuals absent; why they were out, what sickness, who passed away, etc. Personally I find the whole the process invasive and it makes me uncomfortable. Has anyone else experienced this or is this practice normal?
Unemployment Eligibility
If you give your 2 week notice and your employer lets you go the next day are you eligible to file for unemployment? State is NH if that matters.
I believe this belongs here.
What is the best way to deal with a manager that deadnames staff and uses language like “ret**d” to refer to staff? My manager is young (25) and has warned staff that he struggles with patience. So when things are not done in a timely manner he will call certain staff memebers “dumb f****** ret**ds” during moments of stress. There is also an ongoing issue with deadnaming a staff member who has repeatedly asked to be called a different name. This was addressed on their very first day and staff has respected that request with no issues at all. The manager has continued to use their deadname in emails and documents at work. He even calls them by their deadname to their face and then calls it a “mistake” when called out by that employee. He also refuses to use their pronouns (they/them in the workplace). Another mistake that he…
