ive applied to everything. from mcdonalds to office jobs a multination corps. Noone wants to hire me and i dont know why. I just dont see the point. I hear that companies say “no one wants to work anymore” but i want to work and they still wont hire me. I dont even know what im doing wrong. Im from the UK got 11 GCSEs 3 A Alevels and a 1st class degree at uni. But not even asda hasn't responded to my applications. Any interview i have results in a rejection. And i Just dont fucking know why. Ive been enthusiastic in interviews, ive been a bitch to the boot. but no one wants to hire me. and it makes me so mad that i hear stories about people who cant hold a job and have had like 10 jobs in a year, and i cant even manage 1.…

My company decided to replace my position with overseas employees today and I was let go without notice. What are some ways I can bring in income while I search for a new job? They can be creative or even manual labor. Just want to think of some options to cover me if it takes a while to find a new job. Appreciate the help.

I’m so fucking sick of hospitality as an industry. I’m now 23, been working since 15 and I’ve had over 20 jobs because this industry absolutely fucking sucks. I’ve left for so many reasons, unpaid labour, no breaks, sexual harassment, workplace bullying. This time feels different because no one has really done anything to me per say, but they are morally fucking bankrupt. The way my managers talks about disabled people, trans people and people of colour just repulses me. I can’t say anything because I would get fired on the spot and I’ve literally only been there for a month. Leaving so many jobs makes me feel like a failure in this horrific late stage capitalism in which we measure our worth in our productivity and hence our work.
