I work at a gas ,,Aastation, I'm full time. I've been asking for days for forever and it never happened. There was some BS and I rage applied for another job. I got hired. I honestly felt so bad putting my 2 weeks notice in. We're (of course) short staffed and 2 other people put their notice in. Then I got in today to check my schedule and I have to work days on the one day I requested PM because my kid has a school function. And my boss knows I have a school function because her kid is in the same grade and has the same function! Don't feel bad anymore and I already told her I'll be late that day. My boss hadn't seen my 2wks because I just left it on the desk today.

Indeed took my negative reveiw
I posted a review about a job I recently left and put 1 star for everything except one thing. And I left a paragraph about my experience and posted it Indeed pulled it saying I violated the guidelines. I know I didn't because I reread it multiple times both my post and the guidelines. So my question is does Indeed pull down negative reviews when a company has too many? Or was there just a fluke?

A warning for anyone working at or thinking about working at JPMorgan Chase & Co. If you work at JPMorgan Chase & Co. or are thinking about working at JPMC, you need to know about their employee surveillance tool called WADU. WADU is an acronym for Workforce Activity Data Utility. Every employee at JPMC has a profile in the WADU database. I think everyone expects their employer to track them to some extent. It is pretty standard practice for employers to monitor and run analysis on things like building badge swipes and the amount of time spent connected when working from home. It has also become very common place for employers to record audio and video at the office. WADU is on a different level. It is an artificial intelligence & machine learning system for workforce human behavior. Starting at the moment you arrive to the building, WADU is tracking…
Are these reasonable reasons to get fired? I just really want to know if these are reasonable reasons to get fired or if I am overreacting? • Lacking attention to detail • Limited ownership of projects through to satisfactory completion • Limited communications and lack of interactive email or message responses To explain what these all mean. My manager said that my lack of attention to detail is because I don’t spell check documents. The second one is that I don’t take on more work. The third one is that I don’t message her throughout the day. Are these reasonable reasons to fire someone?
I don’t mean for this to be an antagonistic discussion in any way; I would like to have you’re opinion actually. I will respect your opinion, and I hope you will respect mine. Without giving away too many details…. I work for a multimillion dollar company as a Superintendent. We do heavy industrial construction. Without getting into details of what I did prior to taking this job (Former Marine Corps Infantry which I am proud of by the way, but not relevant to the discussion.) I started with this company as a laborer. I worked my way up. I was encouraged to learn and was taught anything I wanted to know. I still am. I was promoted based on merit on multiple occasions, I consider the owners of this company my family. The jobs that we do are hard, they are very technical. This isn’t residential construction construction by any…
