Ugh. Boss just yelled at me for some mistake but refuses to say what it was and is now passive aggressively finding issue with all my work. I waited until he calmed down a bit and asked specifically what the problem was and he just said “I shouldn't have to tell you”.

Hey all, company offered floating holiday in lieu of Easter. I worked all Easter weekend to “help out.” I went to request my floating holiday day this week and my boss denied it stating I had to have requested it by March 1st (HR policy, was not aware). Can they do this? I have the holiday time banked in my time off accruals on our time keeping program. I am also upset that my boss didn’t even bother to see if they could make an exception for me considering that I have been working the weekends and EVERY holiday (even a few hours Xmas morning) since my employment started a few years ago. Interested to hear your thoughts and what recourse if any I can take. Thanks in advance!

I work at a warehouse unloading trucks and shit and we just got a whole bunch of new hires. Out of 11, 6 were people over the age of 70. That’s for my section in the unload. When I got to load side, there so many new old people. Most were very hunched back and can barely lift without the help of someone. And I’ve been noticing in stores and fast foods places around me also have very old-old people working as well. Shit is really hitting the fan huh

Like the title says. Still going through some of the training and realizing this isn't for me. Have another gig lined up. Do I give a 2 week notice? I'm thinking maybe they pay me out for it? Either way I'd like to respect their time and mine but I wouldn't mind the continued employment in between jobs. Thanks
