Opinion. If your coworkers continuously leave work early, your boss is never at work, you would leave early too? Yay? Nay?

I work in a very small insurance office. Just four of us. My boss is almost never at work. And on the few days she is here she comes in late and leaves early. And she’s on personal phone calls almost the entire time. My two coworkers have found various reasons to leave work 20min, 30min, sometimes hours early or not come in at all, repeatedly for the past at least 6 months. The reasons are legitimate enough. I will give them that. One coworker is in the middle of a legal battle and has court dates. My other had a close relative who’s been in the hospital and needs my coworker’s help with things (although she’s better and my coworker continues to leave early anyway for some reason). My boss has two young kids and has had a stream of minor surgeries recently. (Although she’s been not showing up…

Back when I was just 18 years old, I had just graduated High School, gotten married (to my now ex wife), I left my job at JC Whitney for what I thought would be a more lucrative job: Selling cars. It was 2003 & everyone had good credit so you tried to sell everyone, but it was hard to actually get someone to buy (which is funny, cuz the next time I tried selling cars was after 2008 & nobody had good credit, but for some reason EVERYONE wanted to buy).
