I'm resigned 2 months ago due to a lot of reasons, including too much boring tasks for to few money, and I still have a month left. I'm at the head of the commercial department (and by at the head, I mean I'm the only one working here, resulting in the overload of work) A month ago, the head of the execution department, who could have taken a bit of my tasks, has announced her pregnancy. A week ago, it was the head of the financial department. Today, one of the main secretary. I just saw the life exit my boss's eyes đ I almost regret quitting. I would have waited for the busiest day to pass by my boss, rubbing my stomach, complaining about recent morning sickness lol

After a week, I get an email from HR with my interview date and time, which was more than a month ahead of time. I immediatly warn both my supervisor and the person in charge of scheduling that I would need to be available for an hour on that given date for an interview. They both confirmed it was okay and marked it in the schedule as a “meeting”. Fast forward to the morning of the day of the interview, and my supervisor tells me that the workload is too high for that day and that I -have- to cancel my “meeting”. I respond by telling him it's not a meeting,…
The frantic pace of automation
Has automation helped the work place or just created a more frantic work pace?
