Former job trying me
I was hired as a permanent substitute teacher. I do not have a license to teach nor a bachelor's degree. But I was put in charge of teaching an 8th grade science class. During this time I made some mistakes that I was not aware of and each time I always reached out if I was unsure of something. I was recently terminated from my job for allegedly talking to children about sexual stuff (only stuff i talked to them about is to please use protection as i didnt want any of them to be teenage parents), letting students draw sexual graffiti on my white board, hitting students and encouraging others hit, bribing students to keep said behavior quiet, and talking about other teachers. Now most of this I can argue is incorrect and false. I was alerted to my termination from a student who found my personal social media…

Rail Labor Act takes the teeth of mine
I recently went from part time to PRN at my hospital job. I started a new job and was originally going to quit my previous one, but decided to stay PRN as I still enjoy all my coworkers and don’t want to shut the door to that job yet. I had put in a 2 week notice to originally leave my job permanently, following that 2 weeks notice is when I signed the paperwork to remain PRN. I was originally told that as long as I fulfilled 4 days in the rest…

They correctly predicted state controlled media and the assault of corporations against the american people. When are we going to wake up as a country and take it back for the people. Down with citizen united and the conglomerate controlled media.

Money was still tight – I got lucky to get a scholarship though Football but still had to work a part time job throughout summer to get through College. I also had to help in the family business since age 17. With their inheritance my parents build a few houses and appartments and started renting them. I still couldnt afford my own house until I was 25 – money was allways tight. Then came the dot com crash and the recession of 2008 that almost ruined us. But because we were smart and hard working we prevailed. We just raised prices from 600/month to 1000/month and still barely made it. I never inherited…
