My dad is dying in the worst way possible. He has head and neck cancer. His neck is not existent, his neck and chin are a giant open wound. He had bone in his dressing the other day. I am both his POA and Executor. My main priority is keeping his wishes intact but his case is challenging. I finally got Family Medical Leave. My manager agreed to let me take it intermittently so for now, i take days off as needed. I was sort of confused she seemed to know nothing about the leave as she is the sole HR rep in this company. But she has been supportive. But coworkers are always so fucking competitive and rude. They obviously aren't telling my coworkers I'm on leave which is what I asked, but any day I take it off, even though it's all good between the person i report…

At my work only there are 2 buildings about a mile apart. The building I work at has minimal parking, so only a select few favorites get to park here. The majority of us park at the other building because they fire you if you don’t. Now because we park at a different building we have to take a shuttle bus. This bus leaves 15 minutes before the start of the shift, and 15 minutes after the end of the shift. We’ve all been clocking out when we get to work, not when the bus gets us all to our building. But now that time is being removed from our pay. So my question is, should we be getting those extra 30 minutes a day or not? Not our fault we have to be early for a bus.
Businesses: “Why won’t anyone work?!”
Also businesses: Says that you have an interview and literally tells you they’re not hiring and only doing this for the government funding. MAYBE THATS WHY YOU DONT HAVE ANYONE WORKING FOR YOU, FUCKING IDIOTS! I had this happen to me, and it’s still pissing me off!
They are taking away your rights!
Mr. Schultz was informed by a U.S. senator that federal judges have determined that he has broken the law. He under oath states that he has not broken the law. Because he is working to change the laws and make the right people judges so that he can continue to profit by breaking the law.
My parents bought their house at 115 for the 99 and the 2000. I dated myself with that reference. Anyway. They made maybe 100K between the 2 of them. I make decent money and my wife makes a decent wage as well. The housing Market now has doubled or tripled since then. Combined my wife and I make 40K more than my parents but the houses are still not affordable. All my dad asks me about is savings and I'm like I have bills and shit too what savings? 95 percent of my check goes to someone else at this point for bills and necessities. It's ridiculous that people fail to see the contradiction in every argument they have to provide a living wage for everyone. 7 Trillion dollars in unpaid taxes across the country? It's not the middle or lower classes that aren't paying.
I was born in 95. I’m completely agree with salary transparency. I’ve noticed older Gen Z are open about their salary as well but you millennials… millennials are SO split. I don’t understand why salary is so taboo, especially when talking to someone who doesn’t even work at the same company as you, sometimes not even the same industry. Why am I the a** for asking someone how much they make? I just want to know if they’re getting screwed or their company respects them.
