Are there websites for employees to look up employers they might potentially work for?

Basically like a “rate my professor” but for employees to look up ratings from previous employees when applying for a company or agency.

I’m 33 years old and unemployed as of two weeks ago. For the first time in my life I feel freedom. Where do I go from here?

Up to this point I served 8 years in the Air Force reserves and worked for the government. I’m no longer bound by any contract and I just have to worry about my car payment and cell phone. It hits me that I’m not tied to any corporate or government greed. I’m free to decide whatever I want to be. It’s the most scary and freeing I’ve ever felt in my life. So where do I go from here? What can I do to make money and be happy with what I’m doing?

Boss pissing me off

I work childcare and My boss is just a nightmare. She's fake nice, plays favorites, talks shit about coworkers who are not at site that day. If we have issues we can't go to her cause she won't do anything. She promised me she'd fight for me to get a raise. But only helped her favorite get one (this coworker is lazy and just as bad). We had one guy leave to become head of another site and she talks shit about him. I had a cool idea for the total solar eclipse next year where we do space week and an eclipse party. She said it was a good idea. But then told her boss it was her idea. She had no idea that there was an eclipse. The worst part of it all is how she is with the kid. Again she has favorites then is so mean to…

Meetings during unpaid lunch

My job has been doing this really fun thing the last 6 months where everyone under 40 in an office position gathers in our main office and plays ping pong. Except they haven't played ping pong since November because HR turns them into meetings to improve the company. I don't attend. The meeting is across the office and I can hear them from my desk (open concept office), but i sit here eating my lunch. I'm not going to throw my lunch away for a meeting I'm not getting paid to attend. If it's that important they can pay me. So far, nobody has said anything to me about it. I worked for a large corporation prior to working at this family owned business and I know my rights. I'm the only person in my company that's ever worked anywhere else, everyone else is a family member or has been…

Paid paternity leave not actually paid

I work for a large corp that recently started offering multiple weeks per year parental leave after the birth of a child. My job is salary but I’m required to work a certain number of shifts per month and any additional shifts worked on top of that requirement are paid out extra on top of salary. I was just informed by employer that the weeks I took off for leave did not count toward my shift requirement because I was not scheduled to work. Except the reason I was not scheduled to work was because I informed the scheduler in advance which days I was going to be on leave so that they didn’t add me to the schedule and end up with uncovered shifts. So no shift credit for parental leave because I was not scheduled to work. But I was not scheduled to work because they knew I…

I work at a warehouse and got told that I need to work faster

We get hundred upon hundreds packages that needs to be invidually wrapped and packaged while removing protective plastic from clothing. It's a waste throwing since the plastic is there to protect the clothing. When working a girl that seems to be somewhat of a wannabe manager came up to me. She took a timer and told me that they have a goal that I have to reach since there are so many packages needed to be sent. I'm barley copping with the pace. I'm standing 9 hours a day wrapping packages invidually not sitting down once while working. My neck, feet, knees and back hurts.
