Upon telling them that the two are clearly incompatible since our work can clearly be done remotely (as has been the case for nearly 3 years now), I was told that colleagues travelling to and from the office doesn't count towards net zero goals – despite the fact that it clearly bloody does and would, in fact, be the largest single contributor to my work-related carbon footprint in the event that I have to travel to work now.

SPEND MORE. WORK MORE.
So my boss/department head sent me an email yesterday stating that because of a mistake I made during a client phone call, I would be barred from handling any business related to that client for the next 60 days. It’s clear they’re trying to push me out, as his directive was never clear in the first place, and instead of having a discussion with me, he sent the email and CC’d both our HR manager and our chief financial officer. Asked my boss if she could say something Boss said I should just tell this coworker “hey there’s a lot to do, let’s tackle this together!“ First of all coworkers aren’t going to listen to me that needs to come from a boss. Second of all, is it just me or does saying that make me feel like I’m in a kids show “with the power of teamwork we can do anything”. Lastly, I shouldn’t shouldn’t have to tell someone who’s been here 2 years there’s work in front of us to do… Honestly I’m better saying ”wow there’s a lot to do and you’re not going to help? That’s cool I’ll go home early and…
