This branch is shit. Coolifts are a mess. Can’t check in yourself since management have a problem with that. So I gotta wait wasting more time. Plus I got “promoted” after 9 months when one former coworker quit. And I can see why. These routes are spread out like a mug. 9 stops will end up making you fall behind past 5pm (we start at 5am) and here’s the kicker. Overtime…is Chinese. The longer you’re out the less you make. This is obviously a flat rate salary. I know other drivers who make more then me but what’s funny is that this occupation ain’t worth the long hours if overtime is depleting. I ended up working 12 to 15 hrs on a flat salary for coke. And me and a coworker were thinking the same thing. You have us working like this for long days. It’s should be four days…

Fast Food workers, do you see tips?
Just curious. More and more I'm seeing the tip prompt at checkout and I'm curious if you actually see these tips working at places like Carl's Jr. and Subway.
I work for a birth to three agency in Seattle, Washington as a speech therapist and spent the last year organizing to unionize! We’re a private non-profit who gets contracts from the state and local school districts to provide early intervention services (although we call them early supports here) to kids with disabilities in their homes. We were seeing a ton of burnout and people leaving. Our wages were also “frozen” during COVID and then did not keep up with the 9-11% inflation here in Seattle. Our management was making decisions about virtual vs. in-person without consulting anyone and basically refusing to provide any actual information behind things. We were fed up! Long story short, we…
Hi for context I’m Gen Z. I’m not diagnosed with anything, but I do know I am experiencing burnout. But those who do not know that will think I am lazy. And maybe I am. I’m in a senior college and i have one more semester left. I started in 2020, leaving in 2023. I was on a full-ride scholarship the whole time. I did dance when it was the season and I work part-time. I also try to find time to go to the gym. Before college in high school, I was on the honor roll each quarter. I was on the dance team, PTK, and taking early college classes after having 6 hours of regular classes (I also took AP classes). I started working part time my senior year of HS (12 hours). I was working hard even before i reached high school. From inter to high school,…
