Good afternoon reddit, I got a good one for you. Wednesday night I had a panic attack at work, (mind you I'm an overly large 33yo male that works at a psychiactric hospital.) I was pulled off of my duties, and made to sit in front of the patients I work with day to day., instead of being able to sit privately and sort out the problem at hand. I left for home that evening at 10 arrived home and had another attack that aggravated my insomnia and disallowed me to sleep that night so I called in to work the next day due to lack of sleep, I had been awake since 830 the previous morning, so it's Thursday now and I guess I, being around semi sick staff and patients, developed a stomach bug with diarrhea and vomiting simultaneously and a slight temperature. Way To Show You Care
I work a pizza delivery job. They have this as a slide in a sideshow with our rules in the back. This is saying they pay us $1 for each delivery towards our gas/mileage out of their pocket. Since I started about a month and a half ago, they have also had a promotion that all web orders (about 75-80% of them) have no delivery fee. This delivery fee goes to us for gas/mileage. So now we only get $1 for each order besides the tip. On the phone orders, the minimum fee is $2 and at the end of our boundary gets close to $5. There have been days that all of my orders are web orders with no delivery fee. They're trying to sound all nice and gracious, but they aren't showing that they actually care.
