Period point blank. Please don't drive while half asleep. Remember why back up cameras were installed, people used to back over their own kids. Please, take care of yourself and make sure you aren't working a nigh shift and then a day shift. Ask your boss point blank “do you want me driving by your kid's school while I am falling asleep behind the wheel?”

Not at the target I work but supposedly pinned on the board at a target. Seriously though, why does management care so much about a company that couldn't care less about them.
I walked out. Finally had enough
This honestly was brewing for years. I just couldn't take it anymore and I just need to get it out. I had been with the same company for about 7 years. I definitely gave a lot to them over time. A few years in after the manager left, the owner took up the job of managing. Queue some favoritism and lots and lots of bullying. Generally when the owner got in a bad mood about every 6 months I would take all or the brunt of his rudeness. Well this Thursday I get in, I go to say hi. Immediately I'm cut off being told that he doesn't care, and I need to go clock in and get to work. Ok, no problem. Must be a busy day. About a half hour later I tell him I don't appreciate the way I was spoken to the moment I walked in.…
Hey so I've been working at my current job for about four years going on Five. It's definitely a step up from the previous job which was the Airport. However, recently the company I work at is struggling financially so the hours aren't great. They hardly ever give me a full shift. Over time, I've gotten really comfortable at my current job and I love the relationships I made with the workers and staff. But at the same time, I need to pay my bills. At the Airport, I was just a regular associate. It was fine. Tho I did notice, that they're very strict on stuff. Like we weren't allowed to leave until everything was stocked and zoned neatly. Which you can see how that's a problem because my dad would be outside waiting for me. Like the entire Airport was like this. There was also this rule if…
We have 2 WFH days out of the week, though flexible, a majority of the office work from home Thursdays and Fridays. Vice President of the company makes a surprise visit and is apparently “appalled that there was barely more than 10 people in the office on Friday..” When they told him most people worked from home that day he said it was embarrassing to see and pushed for people to work in office on a Friday. Now the managers are trying to tell everyone to switch their work from home days to cater to this nonsense of an issue. It is literally the stupidest thing ever. On Fridays I tend to get my work done before noon and relax and respond to things as they come. Now I have to waste time commuting to the office, pretending to look busy, all because some guy felt sad that no one…
Hello, I've been at my current job for 6 years. 3 years ago our Health & Safety manager was diagnosed with terminal cancer and had to work from home, so I volunteered to take on his on-site duties. 12 months later he sadly passed away. A few months after that my boss and I had a conversation where he said that I'd get the role but couldn't offer a timeframe as to when it would be finalised. I asked a few times what's happening but was vague and giving non-answers. Since then I've applied for multiple promotions with no luck, and every time I've been unsuccessful I've asked about the H&S Manager role and get the same vague answer, and I haven't followed up in the last 12 months, just hoping he'd do the right thing. No luck. 6 months ago it was announced that the site will close in…
