I received an offer from a financial firm that would be located in Silicon Valley where I lived. They offered to give me $20m in clients that I would be receiving front the Regional Leader. Assets under care is a large percentage of how we are compensated, so this was almost too good to be true. Hi reddit, I'm a 18 yo student who works part time on the weekend usually. I have a trip planned since 2-3 months already which will be in 2 weeks. I put this specific week that I'll be gone as an unavailability last week (so 3 weeks prior to the trip). I have heard that my boss has a history of not letting people go under the reason that “they're needed here” or whatever. I may be wrong, but as a minimum salary worker that's working once a week, I should be able to just go on a one week trip without it creating any problems at the job.
