I am certain this has been posted on anti-work multiple times so I apologize in advance. Hopefully this post isn't too annoying. But there is good reasons behind it however. Just google it (I am actually at work right now so I will do the research later today). I remember seeing information that we would be on the same level if not more efficient with a 4 day work week(. Provided we were to get paid for what we would over a 40 hour work week). I think it would be much more beneficial in every aspect for your employers and for the workers themselves. During that period of having 3 days off, workers will be much more equipped for recharging for the next work week. I think this is imperative for those jobs that take a toll on workers like tradesmen, or engineers. Studies could be done on how…

Brother…. Just back up to the dock.
I'm prepping to apply to a wide variety of internships for the summer, and it seems that so many of them require three references, none of which I truly have. I've always been introverted and usually do my job quietly, and my work experience is so low as a college student that I have no idea who to even put down. These internships are for college students, how do they expect three references?

Hi! Sometimes in this community I could meet a phrases like – “This all cracked up due to a boomers! They destroyed our present and our future!”. As far as I know, boomers – are people born from 1945 to 1965. But how they affected lives of young americans and how they “destroyed economy”? Many thanks
Am I crazy for thinking this is asking a lot from applicatants? I applied for a job position that is essentially a receptionist position for a medical company. Within a day or so of applying I received and email directing me to a sort of pre-screening online test. This is a two hour test that I was required to take all in one sitting within 3 days of receiving the email. It seems like a lot to ask from applicatants before they even consider your application. This isn't a final step after being interviewed. It's the first thing they have you do. That's a lot of time and energy spent on a receptionist position with the small chance I might be selected when I could spend that time putting out tons of other applications for other similar positions.
An employee benefits are always on the chopping block. Ain't it grand?
