If you survived (congrats!) then remember two things: Your org still has the same amount of work but less people. Someone's going to try to add things to your job description, BARGAIN FOR MORE MONEY BEFORE YOU ACCEPT! Or, bargain for something to come off of your job description that's of equal value/weight. Right now, this very minute, start to organize a union. Your fellow team members who survived are motivated to protect themselves and a union does that. And, as per point #1, you are at your peak bargaining power. Good luck, be safe, look out for yourself, your team mates and THEN your company. IN. THAT. ORDER. Adios!

How many times am I going to be expected to play dumb and pretend something was my fault to make upper management look better? This is one of the things I hate most about my current job, along with the lack of appreciation for taking the brunt.

I hate existing under this system
Not even living, just existing. Wake up, get ready for work, go to a job I don't find fulfilling or that pays well, get home too exhausted to follow my hobbies. Sleep. Repeat. This one life and this is what I get. And I have social media to remind of the lucky ones born into wealth and whose worst struggle is deciding what private jet they want to take to another country
THE FIVE STAGES OF GRIEF
I work 2 jobs and work almost always 6 days a week, if I work both jobs on the same day I usually work no less than 9 hours that day, my grandma is acting in disbelief that I haven’t moved out yet and owned my own house by now, I’m fucking 22, and NOWHERE near me that isn’t a minimum wage job will even give me an interview, and even then I’ve only lived with them for about 3 years, I just don’t understand why old people seem to be living in a fantasy land with everything happening right in front of their eyes
