To switch careers or not to switch

I'm 37 and on my 2nd career and might be ready to switch again. I don't hate my job, my coworkers or my bosses. But I don't make as much money as I could be. I left my last “job” last summer after dealing with intense bullying and harassment from a small business owner/operator. Racism, sexism, homophobia… screaming at employees at the top of their lungs racist slurs, constantly threatening termination. Last straw was a nick name i was given that I'm not going to repeat -paranoia- that was disgusting. Okay, get another job… beautiful office building, looks too good for me (i have no degree, it's a major complex i have and i live in a competitive state). They hire me the day after the interview. Training was great, I picked up on everything quickly and was on my own doing well and making no errors. That is, until the system switchover that changed EVERYTHING. Initially i was told my job was going to be made so easy that i was worried i'd be let go… turns out my job and all aspects of…
