“Remote is considered.” Not guaranteed. Even though the rep who provided me with the interview and offer told me several times that I’d be working remotely. But on paper it says otherwise. I recently left an abusive job and got hired for a new one, but I've run into a new problem and to be fair it's been an ongoing issue. I've been falling behind on rent due to price increases in the rent itself and necessities, and have been trying to stall for time, but my landlord gave me a warning a while ago and he actually followed through. So, I no longer have a place, again. Luckily, I was proactive and had been making arrangements for new housing ahead of time, however that's not going to be happening until late March at the earliest, as this happened quicker than I anticipated, so this creates a problem for my new job. The one poorly run shelter here, does not have bathing facilities, they instead partner with a rec center to provide showers, the problem is that there are only two stalls…

Had an interview with a company where the department I just got hired for consists of only 2 people, and they were urgently hiring because the department head is retiring soon. And apparently the workload can get heavy and stressful. So I asked them, why are they only looking for one new hire? They said there might not be enough work for 3 people. But what about vacations and stuff? Which they joked about how hard it is to find coverage for vacations, so it’s a problem they are FULLY AWARE of… and yet don’t want to address? I’m concerned about this too because I want to enjoy my vacations without worrying about how my coworker (singular!!) will be affected, and my health is suffering a bit right now too so I’ll need that sick leave… Hopefully I’m worried for nothing. This will be the best paying job I’ve ever…

If anyone could give me some pointers on where to look etc. I have a lot of experience in several different fields of work including customer service, sales, etc. Id rather not physically have to go back to a place of work. any direction would be appreciated. I have fast internet and plenty of time. side hustles online work as well. Much appreciated
