I'm so disappointed. This is supposed to be the watchdog helping us. Yet even in this obvious case they've nothing to get her the money she's owed. We're not sure if we should drop it or pursue other government agencies. I'm told we could give the same info we provided the Federal DOL to our State DOL and IRS. Backstory: We provided clear proof of many issues at my daughter's employer, a restaurant owned by a multi-millionaire who also owns substantial real estate and among other things cannabis dispensaries. This is a man with dozens of LLC's set up to manage strip malls, then puts his own businesses into many of the openings in those malls. As the title says, I'm graduating college soon with a BA in Finance. I just need to write this to clear my head in all honesty. I'm deathly terrified that I won't be able to find a job upon graduation, and I have no idea what to expect. My brain feels lost in it all and I just feel the impending possibility of it all not working out and ending up with me living at my dad's house again. Wondering how people even actually do things, and do people even actually do things? Everything feels fake and Idk how or what to do about it.

State of Idaho. I found a ambiguous federal law stating you couldn’t record audio without consent, but I am wondering if there is anything at the state level that would circumvent this. I work at specialty retail store and have worked there for 10 years. The owner has always lacked a moral compass. His decisions are purely motivated by money. I am the manager of some high school kids so they definitely aren’t the hardest working people but I feel like as long as they are 50% efficient that’s appropriate to their age. The owners are stuck in 1950 and feel like I’m paying you money you should be working every single second of the work day!

I made a post last night about a situation that occured at my job and I'm currently looking for a new one. I now have two interviews lined up for next week. In the meantime, the woman I work for (I take care of her disabled adult son) has been staying home almost every night (she used to go out to dance classes) and I'm being watched while I work. It makes the situation insanely uncomfortable for me. To make matters worse, he acts out (not sure how else to word that) when she's home. Badly.
