I’m going to quit my job without notice tomorrow. I work at a doggy daycare and was attacked by a dog on Saturday that has attacked other employees before. I have several huge bruises on my arm and throbbing pain from the bruises. This dog had hurt other employees before but was somehow still not dismissed. The owner of our business finally allowed me to dismiss him for good. But I’m angry…it took me getting hurt and it was a 100 percent preventable since he should’ve not been allowed to come back the first time he hurt someone (he has bit another employee hard enough to leave scars). When I texted photos to the owner of my injuries later, all he said was “oh my” and that’s it. I feel like he doesn’t care about his employees’ safety. I’m not risking myself getting hurt again from the owner’s stubbornness. I…

Partner makes a dollar, PM makes a dime…
I posted a rant about a horrible experience I had with build a bear costumer service here. To make a long story short, I had an online order I wanted to cancel, called costumer service many times over 10 days to cancel that order, every time being told that there was nothing they could do, I had to wait to receive the order and return it in store. I gave up after 10 days because that’s when the order finally shipped from the warehouse. After I received it I went in store and spent an hour and a half, being bounced from in store costumer service to online costumer service to going back in store. Every time I talk to someone new or even the same people the story changed and they came up with a new reason for why I couldn’t return the product. By the end of this…
Am I being ripped off?
I joined a café as a waitress, weekends only, at a rate of 27 ph (he wanted to do 26). Before my fourth shift, owner texts me he decided to hire someone else. I did 6,5 hours x 3 days (19,5 hrs) He only transferred me 505,5 (it should be 526,5). When we met, he said payments were in the books”. However, he did not send me a payslip. How should I proceed in this situation? I was thinking of texting him: you can either pay the remaining 21 or send me the payslip. Thanks a lot
Hey everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience with being wrongfully fired from a small mom and popish pizza place. A few months ago, I started working there as a server. My boss was a really friendly guy at first, but it didn't take long for me to start noticing some strange and uncomfortable behavior from him. He would make suggestive comments and gestures towards me and some of the other female employees. I knew I needed to say something, but I was afraid of losing my job. I was also worried that my boss would get angry and try to make things worse for me. But after talking to some friends and family, I decided to report the sexual harassment to my manager's superiors. To my surprise, instead of addressing the issue, my boss found out that I had reported him and became hostile towards me. He started…
