Which means that I get all the responsibility and workload but they’re still paying my my old wage for several months until they decide if they want to make it official. The reason given was “budgetary” but it seems that since the person whose shoes I’m stepping into is gone and left after the budget was done, their salary is very much in the bucket. I also have access to our team’s financials now and it’s fun to see that the profits made by my team’s work this month have paid for all of our salaries for the year.
Kinda disrespectful tbh
What is the end goal.
So I read your opinions on the work culture and how it affects the working man. What steps do you take to actually be independent? Would be glad to hear some direction.

Job Dilemma
Hi guys, I am currently an Accountant Apprentice from 9-5 at the age of 18 who has been doing this for 4 months. I left university right at the start to do this in September. However, I'm not sure I want to pursue accountancy anymore. My Dilemma is that I like the people I work with in my department and its a good, healthyql company. The main factor keeping me there is the friends I'm around with, but I don't enjoy the work. I have enough grades to get any uni course I like as an fyi. Please help.
