During my time with JPMorgan, we would work a half day Saturday, Sunday off, then a weekday off. 40 hours/week. This position (Associate Banker) was a combination of being a greeter, a teller, an account maintenance person, a notary, an ATM custodian, and an account manager. There was much to learn, memorize, and perfect to make sure we were in compliance as an employee of Chase. However, the amount of work done did not reflect on the $17.85/hr pay, especially when you discovered later you were the least paid employee (different story). I value my free time, as much as any other person does. Not getting a full weekend was off putting and getting out 30-40 minutes late consistently due to a single individual was not okay. Our company hired this firm to consult on “business optimizing” which I researched their track record and they have a horrific history of bad decisions and bullshit. Has anyone else been exposed to McKinsey & Company and if so what was your experience so we can try and stay informed on what their game is. Thank you and Solidarity to all!

So I was called into the boss’ office where he told me that I am not as enthusiastic with the job as I first started last year. He asked me questions like whether I liked the role or not. He also stated that it seems like I am not mixing well with the team because I am too quiet and not having enough conversations, therefore he is not confident to give me clients to deal with. I told him I always ask questions when I need help, say hi or bye everyday. However, apparently no one heard when I say hi or bye but I guess it is my fault for not speaking up. I’ve been at my job for 5 years now. I’ve been a supervisor for 2.5 I’ve been trying to get promoted to AGM for about a year now. My manager constantly bullies me , even though I’m one of the highest performers ( not just saying that it shows in every way from labor to customers to development of squad and so on) they refuse to promote me but won’t fire me, so I just feel stuck.
