I find it very strange that human resources at my work is on the 3rd story and you have to ring a doorbell to see someone and they won't let you in , you go to another room to talk. Good thing I'm leaving . Stuff is shady as hell here.
I used to work at a spa and this manager made up a bunch of lies about me and got me fired a couple months ago. One of my coworkers also got fired even though he was one of the best employees. I reported her to OSHA for vaping in the building and they said they would send a letter but nothing came of it. I don't understand how she still has her job. And she's so rude to the customers. Several of them have written bad reviews about her but she still hasn't been fired, and yet I got fired over complete lies even though I never had a bad review, showed up early and left on time every day, and always did my best. I work for one of the biggest retailers in the US, some of you can probably guess which one. I work in food departments, I handle dry food and just about everything chilled(milk, eggs, frozen food, cheese, etc.) I'm sure customers will love to see a man sneezing, blowing into bloody tissues handling their food. /s I have been sneezing and spitting up bloody mucus all week, also headache, fever, throwing up and more. I'm recovering, got tested for everything and quickly started getting better on the medication they gave me. I feel like I could come to work tomorrow as I do feel well enough to do some things but I don't think I should, I got sick from someone else at work so it's obviously contagious, I had a fever less than 24 hours ago.
