Companies should pay their employers instead of charging customers an extra non menu tax on our food at restaurants to fund basic employment costs. If you can’t afford staff, just don’t hire them. Tipping culture seems so outdated but it doesn’t seem to have an end in sight. How can society collectively bring an end to this?

No Tip Resturant
I was reading an article about a restaurant, Sultan, in Wisconsin that is about to open, the owner is paying employees $20 an hour plus, 5% profit share; no tipping at the restaurant. How do you feel about this? Nonprofit hospital loves profits
Yesterday I had to sit through a mandatory 1-hr meeting about improving profit margins for our nonprofit hospital. The best part? They paid for someone from the opposite coast to fly out and lead the discussion. I spent the whole time wondering how much money we wasted on plane tickets, hotels, rental cars, and food for this person who literally could have just zoomed in. Fucking USA healthcare.
