I would have saved myself time if I had asked about benefits including PTO earlier on in the hiring process.

I posted here long ago on my spare account u/PrincessYamie about toxic coworkers. 230+ days later, I’m still here. The only difference is that I earn more money now and I’m burnt out. I’ve learned overtime to not care as much when it comes to my coworkers talking about me. I also stopped masking at work (I have autism) because it’s been really draining for me and being myself feels more free. I still try to be nice and talk here and there. My favorite coworker and only friend at work recently left due to military deployment and it’s been making me a bit sad. Is it weird to be maybe a bit sad about your coworkers leaving you out? I was supposed to be paid last Thursday, no paycheck yet. My employer is saying that if it isn't here by this Thursday that they will redo the direct deposit. It happened to two other people that I am aware of. I've got a few bucks in the bank and my bills for the month are paid but it's the fact that I don't work for free. How long before you would just walk away? It's a big employer in Vegas, I doubt they're going broke.

I have been with my current employer for a little over a year and a half total. I left for a little while at the peak of the pandemic due to complete burnout.
