My biggest complaint after working retail and fast food for 2 years, holy crap, is the fact, you can’t sit down or you’re “being lazy” like no frick you, the human body ain’t supposed to stand all of a 8 hour shift. 2, 15 minute breaks ain’t gonna cut it, I’m sorry, I have family members who have back issues just from working retail.
Let’s all become millionaires?
Like Mark Z when his small idea focused on connecting students at his university, was actually the start of a multi billion company. Well let’s get together anti work redditors and make some money just like they did. All we need is a plan! Also some other things. Who is with me??

Here's the situation: I work for a pest control company. The pest control company doesn't provide company phones. They compensate by paying $20 a month for us to use our personal phones to do our jobs. I had a positive r/antiwork experience at a pizzeria last month. I was waiting for my waitress to take my order, she came up and introduced to another one. It turns out her shift was over and she was handing me over to another workers. That is the right attitude for employees to have right there! Spread the word!
context: I work for the DA's office in my county. I handle fugitive matters largely, though since a co-worker went on maternity leave now I am handling her caseload a couple days a week. Ever since this transpired she and another supervisor have been in a tizzy, roping a paralegal in as my backup. Emphasis on backup- the way they made it sound initially he was only going to cover for me on my expediting days. Gradually though it almost seems like they're trying to force me out of the entire fugitive loop and put everything on this poor paralegal, who already told me he's overwhelmed and feeling like he's drowning. That pisses me off as it is but I like what I do and I was assured I wasn't going to have it taken away from me while I covered for the new mother. Fast forward to yesterday, some…
