This is too true
This isn’t an attack or a troll I’m genuinely curious. If you don’t want to work what would you do all day with your free time? How would you afford to live and buy things? I’m genuinely curious as to what solutions you guys have because I can’t imagine anything worse than not working. Sure my job is a bit shit but it allows me to do the things I enjoy and allows me to live a comfortable life
I’ll preface by saying this post is information/discussion seeking and an opportunity to work through some conflicting feelings for me, so please take that in good faith rather than immediately jumping to accusing me of sowing division and not acting in solidarity. I’m trying to understand anti work and leftist labor ideology better. The issue at hand is that I have always been an extremely efficient worker. I think it’s mostly fueled by boredom and a certain anxiety of being idle in the workplace. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve gotten a bit better at being “chill” and understanding my duties and trying to focus on doing those. That being said, my efficiency and energy are still often spotted by managers and I often find myself being asked to more or less, pick up the slack of colleagues who’s performance isn’t exactly up to snuff. A way to work for unions?
I'm most likely about to be terminated from my job, which is typical corporate schlock in the insurance industry. For a long time now I've hated it, and have kept the job mostly as a survival tactic to not become homeless and poor. I would love to enter into a field where I can feel proud of my work and help others. Is there a way to work for unions, or apply to work for a union outside of unionizing my own work place?

We started transitioning back into the office. It’s only 1 day a week, but I’ve been going in 2-3 because I need to have a separate work space other than my house. There’s usually always the directors and at least 40% of the rest of the office there on any given day. So I’m just confused why she would single me out
