If not the right sub can someone tell me where else to post My dad (55 y/o) had been working at this place for over a decade and they decided they “no longer need his services”. This is our family’s main source of income, I get disability but it’s not enough to support us (me, mom who can’t work but isn’t eligible for disability, dad) and my dad has limited skill set. Prior to this job he worked at a different place for 25 years so it doesn’t seem like it will be easy for him to find a job again This is in Pennsylvania. Can he get unemployment? A maintenance worker is here checking for damage. Some stuff was here already when my girlfriend moved in and was never fixed. The worker is marking everything down to be fixed. Some damage was caused during the few years she’s been here (not by her but regardless). However, we shouldn’t have to be accountable for damage that was NEVER fixed since she moved in. What can be proved that was never fixed by the landlord compared to everything else? My girlfriend has never been informed about anything so she has no evidence that some damage was here since she moved in. All she has are text messages between the landlord and her. Is this enough evidence to prove about damage since she moved in if the landlord admits to it over text? I’ve since, since moving in, told her to always leave a paper trail.
