This is my first full weekday, where I’m not clocking in, and I paid for LinkedIn. I started looking at people who recently left the company, or got fired, and see they haven’t found anything. Maybe they haven’t updated their profiles yet. I haven’t signed up for unemployment yet (mom’s advice) because I might get something asap, or this month. I’m on a situation where I have 0 rent and bills, I just have personal needs. I haven’t touched my savings yet either. I’ve been applying to jobs before I lost my job, I’ve had three interviews planned before my firing. I have another one today. I guess my biggest worry is that my next role will be less pay ( i made $22 an hour before) or that I won’t get something fast. I also feel like this situation will give me ptsd. I was already going through relationship…

Self Evaluation
We have an annual review at work every year. Our company has an Employee Self Evaluation Form we can fill out ourselves to point out what we did during the year. I was told the first year it was mandatory even though it clearly says its voluntary at the top of the page, so ever since then i have refused to fill it out. That time has rolled around again and my supervisor asks if I'm going to fill it out this year. No, I'm not, just like previous years. He tells me I'm not a team player because i wont help him out. Guy literally does the bare minimum and puts his work on me and the other guy in our department but I'm not a team player. He says hes going to tell his supervisor that I'm being uncooperative. Screw you! Do you job and fill out the…
The place I worked before now, I wasn't getting paid my entire shift, essentially the first 15mins and last 15mins they'd just not pay me, and then they'd underpay their casuals, It was a bottleshop so they'd have 2 people come in, they'd work an hour and a half stocking our inventory, then go home but only be paid the 1.5hours, in Australia I'm unsure if other countries do this, but the minimum is 3 hours even if you've only been there for 30mins and get sent home they pay you for 3, I approached them and told them their rights and they seemed shocked but unfortunately didn't want to rock the boat or their employment, my last straw was when I was scolded for taking a 5min toilet break, i had already been forgoing my mandatory 15min break and 30mins one on my shift but to not even be…
Well I got fired yesterday…
I got fired yesterday for “time theft”. For some context I worked in a huge warehouse, I was an auditor working from the office at the front of the warehouse. My job was basically to got to each area and perform random audits of the operations, associates, stuff like that. I worked 12 hour long shifts, this job was one of the easiest I've ever had. If I hustled I could easily get it done in 4 hours, this job was never meant to be stretched over 12 hours. I was still technically an hourly associate though, subject to punching in and out of a time clock, even though 90% of the time I was a one man department. I had total access to everywhere and total freedom to work at my own pace. I had a job to get done every week, a report to publish, and that was…
They Ain’t Wrong….
Wanting opinions on this situation
So I work in a shipping warehouse. I am the receiving manager and have been since I was promoted on Oct 10th. I was hired as a box runner on Nov of last year and since then was upgraded to stock hand and eventually promoted to receiving manager as I am today. I have to oversee and keep track of the receiving end of the warehouse as well as the stock area (2/3 warehouse sections, lets call them A B &D). I am in charge of A which is receiving and B the back stock area) i have more than enough things to do during the day. As a box runner, I was often bored. Eventually, I found that pallets in the B zone needed a lot of date organization. I began to spend a lot of time in the B zone because it added more variety in my day.…
