I just got my year end pay stub, which came with a Certificate of Excellence for a job well done & 5 years at the company, and a small bonus.
The thing is, I've been here for almost 7.
We're a company of 20 people.
I regularly talk with and report to the owners.
I work closely with our payroll / controller / HR, who would have these records and knows I've worked here longer than them, since I'm the one who trained them in on our systems.
I genuinely do not know how to feel about this.
On one hand, a bonus is a bonus.
