Changing the Bonus Goal posts (UK)

So with the company i work for I sell over the phone (boo and hiss all you want but its the good kind) the old bonus scheme was that you were judged on number of sales you made versus number of calls you took over a certain percentage.. now last month they created a new scheme where the old one is just used for “performance reviews” and you have to have positive sales per call aka if someone was renewing their plan because their item was replaced (think like they got a new phone so have to cancel the old phones plan for the new phone plan) you would have to sell another product on top to be in positive to get paid, cancelling a plan and selling the new one earns you NOTHING… now since we got the first affected month stats back and a 5th of the department…

now since we got the first affected month stats back and a 5th of the department who would normally make bonus get nothing, nada, zip… i myself, had £800 in bonus lost so i don't know what to do as crunching the numbers i was litterily 1 sale away from hitting it… they said that this will save the company millions but I think it'll only take another payday like this for them to lose a good chunk of the sales floor .. i mean im one of the top 15 people in the department and people above me in the rankings didn't get bonus either…

I have a meeting with the operations manager tomorrow but any advice or thoughts would be great
