Basically my way of working is faster and more efficient than what that creature had been doing for years. It didn't like that. It prefers to be “seen as working” even though nothing is actually done at the moment. It even reported me to a supervisor saying I'm not doing my job.
I showed the supervisor that all my work was already done properly, and now I'm sitting at my desk watching for e-mails and answering phone calls, waiting for the next batch of customer mails. Supervisor told it that I'm fine. It hated me even more.
There has to be one verbal abuse coming from that thing everyday, but I've been enduring it because the pay is decent, and I'm actually capable of doing my job.
Turns out I'm not the only one who hated that thing. The guy who did my job before I worked here told me he requested to be moved to another division after only 2 months of working with it.
And there was another moment where we got an intern, a young woman, idk what it did to that intern for about a month but boy, one day it told me to talk to that intern about a minor problem, and that intern got so pissed she came to it and threw a whole document at its head, then got called by HR and she quit at the same week. That things stays.
I've been doing this job since 2017, started working with this thing around 2019, I've been enduring this behavior, and not planning on quitting this job, but I'll rant here just once.
