Hey all, I have a colleague who is a contractor in IT. He supposedly got a new job a month ago at a different contracting firm. However, they keep delaying his start date citing the background check is taking forever.
He's worked with his current contractor and has extended his last day 2 times now. But this most recent time they missed the memo. He is now off the books as if yesterday, and he is supposed to work until the 22nd. His supervisor is trying to work with the contracting firm to correct this. But I would like some resources for him just in case he needs to fight them.
