Company cancelled an interview with me as the interview was starting.

I've spent the last week putting in serious work preparing for an interview for a job I would have loved to get. Less than five minutes into my Zoom call, the HR representative I was interviewing with said “Sorry, hold on for just a moment” and glanced down at his phone, frowned, and said “I'm sorry, but I have some bad news – “The Company” has been considering a hiring freeze for several departments, including the one you're currently applying to join, and we've just received word that it is going into effect immediately”. He then said he'd be happy to keep my information in the system, and then (this is a nonprofit) had the balls to say “But we'd love to have you come in and volunteer in the meantime, would you like to be added to the contact list for that?”. COME ON.
