Talk about shitty morals. A friend of mine got a 12 month contract earlier this year from a major tech company. 3 months prior to this they went public saying they were laying off 20% of their staff by end of year. My friend just found out that the contract ends in December now not middle of next year. They knew they were laying people off but also knew no one wants a 6 month contract. Such a scumbag move at a hard time of the year to get a job. Rant over.
