Won’t name or give details on the company I work for.
I work for a relatively large contracting company in the US. I've discovered that approximately 80% of our projects lack the necessary permits, and most of these jobs should require permits based on county regulations. This practice has been ongoing for years, and the company generates around $100 million in revenue annually.
Given my current employment, I'm hesitant to raise the issue internally as it may put my job at risk. However, I have strong ethical concerns, as I see others cutting corners and delivering subpar work due to the absence of permit inspections.
Is there a way for me to anonymously report this at the local or state level?
