Company Wants Consent to be Searched

The Higher-ups distributed a sheet asking all employees to affirm that they are at-will employees, that they can look at our computers at any time, etc. However, there is also a line that asks the employee to consent to be searched at any time, including their office, their belongings, and their person. Aside from being salaried and not being compensated for working early/late, I generally like my job very much. That clause about consenting to searches of person and property I find somewhere between disconcerting and extremely creepy. What to do…? Ignore until personally confronted by higher-ups? Sign and carry on? Raise concern(s) and risk drawing ire…?
