Company won’t hire me due to salary, but stole all my talking points from interview for their Job Description.

So I recently interviewed for a Managerial role at an Advertising Agency in I am on a call with the hiring manager and two other members of his team. The talk is very informal and goes very well and I tell them what I can bring to their agency to get them on track. It comes to the discussion of salary expectations. Immediately one of them say that’s a little on the high side. The other two try and put him in his place and Sat “Well let’s not rule it out at this stage” The call ends and two of the three people I am talking to are really keen to get me in. Cut to a week later. I get an offer for part time work which would mean a 45% reduction in my real earnings. I thanked them for their time but politely declined. A few days…

A few days after that I see the job spec go up and they have populated “Responsibilities” section with all of my points from our call. Safe to say I’m a little miffed. Also the job expectations and the salary they are offering are way off.
