HelloFresh chat agent begged me not to leave a bad review for an unresolved issue because it might “jeopardize my job”

I started a HelloFresh account recently and used their 1st box free promotion. First time user, however, was still charged over $100 on my first order. I never received the first box they claimed to have sent me, nor did I order it (brand new account). Tried to cancel the order and they wouldn’t allow it. All that said, it’s sad to see chat agents being held accountable for a shitty company policy and shady business practices. I’m considering taking my dispute further up the chain but I’m just not sure if the effort is going to be worth it with these folks. (And no, I did not leave the chat agent a bad review, I’m not a monster.)
