I just started my job 3 weeks ago as a sales rep. The company is a franchise and based in Florida, but had taken over a franchisees location due to lack if effort from him. The sales Mgr came in last week for training and things went great. Very cool guy, he was impressed with me and even stated I'll do a great job. In order for me to get this position I had to pass a background check in order to do business with a major partnered retailer, no issues. I worked solo the whole week, sold 2 out of 5 appointments. Last night I get a call from sales Mgr stating that corporate has decided to go a different direction in my area. Sales Mgr was confused and had no explanation from corporate. I know they were in works on getting a new franchisee, maybe they did and they wanted new employee. I'm just so confused on what happened, it was a good fit for me. It took me 3 months to find this job and I'm not ready to look again. I feel sick.
